After discovering what to do in Finland in Summer<\/strong><\/a>, here you can find our tips<\/strong> about accommodations<\/strong> in the lake district in Southern Finland.<\/p>\n

Hotel or camping?<\/h2>\n

There are many possibilities to overnight in Finland: there are Hotels<\/strong>, that we did not choose for this trip because we wanted to stay in touch with nature, and there is free camping<\/strong> that allows you to set up your tent wherever you want, but always respecting people, animals and things around you.<\/p>\n

One recommended experience is the farm<\/strong>. We could compare Finnish farms to Italian \u201cagriturismi\u201d or farmhouses, even if the context is more rural. You sleep in rooms obtained from the renovation of ancient barns<\/strong>, with no windows<\/strong> – to allow you to rest better during the period of constant light. These rooms are not claustrophobic, as I thought at the beginning! At the farm, it is possible to spend time with animals and enjoy products from the vegetable garden.<\/p>\n
